Best sashimi and shishi at decent price. Two chiefs who work there are really great! The place can get really busy at specific times

Ordered unagi Don to go and they only gave me rice and BBQ eel no veg looks very plain. The sushi there is small too.

Great staff, great food, speedy orders and always some room to sit. They do take away and if you fancy watching the game while eating they've got the TV on with sports. Nice if you want somewhere to grab sushi after spending time in Ambleside Park. Lots of street parking just outside the restaurant and their wifi password is the restaurant's phone number!

Our favorite Sushi place. Does not look like much on the outside, but expect a friendly, family run business with excellent sushi quality and fair prices.

Our favorite sushi restaurant in town! The price is fair, every sushi dish made with lots of love and fresh ingredients. Try the nishiki special roll, a little pricy, but worth every penny. It's a small family run business and we have managed to conquer any language barriers with a smile. The bistro ambiance is the only thing I would not give 5 stars for, but I guess that is personal preference. There is only one way to find out... Enjoy!

Worst sushi restaurant I have ever been to, despite its lovely location. While it may be a great place to order to go, dining in is a horror I would highly deter others from experiencing. The sushi house was highly understaffed in waiters, plates we did not order were placed at our table, and ones we did order had a vastly incorrect quantity of sushi we asked for. The floor under our table was not just unclean, but riddled with fallen food such as noodles and edamame beans. At the end, our waitress demanded a higher tip than we had given, though we had given it for a reason.

Nishiki house special roll is the best

Nishiki is my go to sushi place. The owner and head sushi chef Jason is friendly and great at what he does. They always have reasonable prices, consistently good food and good hours.

Ordered takeout today from this restaurant for the first time: beef teriyaki a la carte, prawn tempura, California rolls, chirashi sushi and miso soup.The food was all serviceable but there's something missing. 1. The beef teriyaki contained gristle. The two boiled pieces of carrot and broccoli tossed on the side didn't fit in; noodles under the beef were OK but not much flavor. 2. The sashimi bowl looked to be all farmed fish, and a little soft at that. 3. Prawn tempura was heavier and less crunchy than it should have been. It's as if the kitchen is just going through the motions, and considering the price, they could have and should have done better. For the same money, Ki-Isu up the street is better, but they made mistakes in my orders so I don't go there anymore.

Good food. I got the chicken box A and it was quite a bid of food. Tasting good. Service was super quick and very nice.

Food is great, if I liked the service I would have suggested the place! Unfortunately, the only thing we got right away after we asked was the bill. We got our own menu, fork for our kid took a long time and someone else got it for us. Slow incontinence service. Oh and spicy tuna sashimi we got the tuna was still frozen. But really the rest was good.

I have made an online order of 20+ rolls and appetizers for a party.They got my large order done as soon as possible and delivered it to my door within the expected time.Couldn't be happier! Sushi was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Brutal service . No hello as I walk In the door . Wanting to place an order to go I walk up to the lady that's working there. She walks right past me to help 2 tables with thier orders. Not even a hello from the guy choppin up the fish. She Then comes back to the till. I ask what's included in a certain item on the menu . She answers with her back to me, short and snappy . So I'm about to order and the phone rings and she begins taking their order . That was enough for me . Peace out ! That short haired broad should Learn some god dam respect and customer service . Thank god i didn't waste any of my money here .

Sushi Is Better Than Most Places In The YVR Area. However Not A Great Drink Selection, and food takes a long time

Ordered our Sushi and waited at least thirty minutes to prepare it. When eventually the waitress brought in takeout containers and dumped it on the table. We reminded her we ordered it for here, she took it back and we waited while they prepared it again. I ordered more sushi and again she brought it in a takeout container. To make matters worse she argued we ordered it to go.

Really good sushi and not too expensive. I had 2 rolls and the gomae (cold spinach salad with seasoned with sesame seed dressing). Everything was delirious. I had the simple salmon and avocado roll, there was a lot of salmon in each piece. I also had their special Nishiki roll (see my photo) which was amazing. It had little crunchy bits throughout and was unlike any sushi I’ve had before. I wish their tables were a little nicer, as it would have elevated the feel of the restaurant, but other than that the service was good and the food was great!

Fast, fresh, delicious. The tuna and salmon combo is great for a quick cheap meal.

I've been going here for years. Their food quality and service has been above and beyond any other sushi place I've every been too! Their rolls are always fresh, and their chicken teriyaki is to die for. I always recommend this to friends and family and they always tell me how much they miss it when they're away. This is a staple place that you can't miss if you're in town, you won't be disappointed!
